During the year the 8th grade students will study Earth Science and further develop skills of observing, inferring and predicting through class work and laboratory experimentation. They will explore the following topics; earth systems, atmosphere, climate, weather, minerals and rocks, tectonics, human impact on the environment, renewable resources, the solar systems, and the universe.

Scientific investigations, pushed on and on, will reveal new ways in which God works, and bring us deeper revelations of the wholly unknown. Maria Mitchell
