Together in Learning, Together in Christ
Our Early Childhood Program has as its primary purpose the formation of Christian values in the young child. We see the child as an individual who will develop spiritually, socially, intellectually and physically in a nurturing environment. We recognize the importance of every student’s relationship to God. Our program strives to create an environment where administrators, teachers, parents and students work together in partnership to provide the best atmosphere for learning in a Christian environment.
Our curriculum encourages developmentally appropriate activities to promote the growth of the whole child. The curriculum responds to individual interests and learning styles of every child. Our environment is designed to foster active participation so each child learns through observation, exploration and verbalization.
St. Aidan School faculty is dedicated to presenting an up-to-date curriculum that allows each child to experience the joys of learning at his/her pace. Taking into account the latest professional trends, the faculty cultivates the inherent curiosity, creativity, and motivation that exist in each child and to foster positive self-esteem so that he/she may carry out social and personal responsibilities.
St. Aidan School will host a weekly “Just We Two ” program for children between the ages of two and three years accompanied by his/her parent or caregiver. The program will introduce your child to the idea of a school setting in a preschool classroom and allows bonding time for you and your child in a fun environment. There will be an age appropriate craft, free play, snack time (provided by parent for your own child), story and simple songs and finger plays. Limited space is available.

The full day Pre-K class is filled with a variety of fun-filled activities designed to foster a love of learning and reading. While students adapt to school routines, they not only gain independence, they learn to follow direction, maintain appropriate behavior, develop a longer attention span, and build confidence. Their speaking vocabularies are expanded and their listening, memory, fine motor and gross motor skills are improved. Math, science and social studies activities heighten your child’s natural curiosity and love of exploration and make them more aware of the world around them. While program expectations are high, be assured that every effort is made to encourage students to try to do their best and not to stress. Every effort is made to insure that a genuine partnership exists between parents and teachers and a commitment is made to maintain the dialogue and cooperation that is necessary for every child’s success.
